Details
Kunyami has no health facility. Care has meant travelling elsewhere or going without.
Everyone who came passed through registration and triage, then moved between service units — consultation, laboratory, nursing, eye care, counselling and pharmacy. Cases needing more than a day could provide were referred.
Free, and open to everyone in the community.

What happened next
All seven surgical cases were referred to Gibonna Women's Hospital in Garki. All seven operations were carried out. All seven recovered without complications.
The young people from Kunyami who worked the service units that day became the first ComPart cohort, which began training the same month.
